Veteran Yoruba actor Kunle Omisore has spoken about his alleged spiritual experiences, claiming he has the ability to see supernatural beings and receive visions.
Omisore made the disclosure during an interview with African A-List, where he said he believes he possesses an anointing that could have led him into the ministry had he not pursued acting.
The actor recounted an experience in which he claimed to have encountered Angel Michael, one of the archangels recognised in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, during a vision while asleep.
He also said he occasionally experiences visions of heaven opening and doves descending, which he interprets as signs of a prophetic calling.
“If I’m not acting, I’ll be a prophet. I see things all the time. I might not even have a church; people might just come to meet me for spiritual consultation at home,” the actor said.
“I’ve got the grace. If you’re talking about angelic beings, I can tell you categorically that I’ve seen and encountered them. I can also tell you that there are angels because I’ve seen them in different forms. I’ve seen those we visualise as pure white. I’ve seen Angel Michael. In fact, I had a close encounter with him. I saw him at night and in the afternoon. With Angel Michael, I was sleeping and I saw a vision of him.
“Sometimes, I’ll see heaven open and doves coming down. All of these show the anointing for ministry and being a prophet, but I didn’t pursue it. If I stop acting, I can be a prophet because I have the grace. It’s not something I’ll have to learn. There’s nothing in the Bible you can fool me with.”
Omisore also claimed that he once attended what he described as a meeting of witches after a woman accused him of offending her and allegedly took him there to resolve the dispute.

According to the actor, the women he encountered did not resemble the stereotypical portrayal of witches often seen in films. Instead, he said they were dressed in traditional Yoruba clothing.
“If you ask me if there are witches, I’ll tell you yes, there are. I’ve been to their meeting before, and I came back home. I was invited by one of them to settle a dispute,” he added.
“A woman said I offended her, and she took me there. I saw them dressed like they were going for an occasion, wearing iro, buba and gele.”
