The marriage has been on shaky grounds for some months—wife, actress Lillian Esoro is out of the home with her baby, her husband begs for her return, she avoids him at public functions and seems not ready to move in again.
Again, everyone thought they were back when the couple was sighted at an event in Abuja and when Lillian sent a birthday shout-out on Ubi’s last birthday.
But from recent happenings, the conclusion is, It’s over
Lillian and Ubi Franklin cannot be back together.
The Made Men Music mogul, Ubi Franklin, got married to actress, former Miss Lillian Esoro in 2015.
Last week, the distraught husband, we did his best possible to have his wife back, deleted all pictures from his Instagram account, leaving just four which had images of him and his not-yet-one-year-old son, Jayden in them.
This took place after he has stopped wearing his wedding band.
Again, observers became curious when Ubi changed his bio data to, ‘Father, Mentor, Investor, Christ Advocate. CEO Made Men Music Group.’
He clearly removed the noun, husband.
Obviously moving on without pretty Lillian, the now single father of one decided sharing new photos which had motivational messages attached to them.
He wrote, “When the devil wants to hurt you and destroy your feelings he doesn’t always send physical harassment.He plays a movie that’s already in your mind. Images in Action( imagination) What you know about God is Your Weapon.”
In another post, Ubi wrote, “With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection.”
This must indeed be a trying time for Ubi, whose record label, Tripple MG, once accommodated the likes of Iyanya and Emma Nyra before they left.
Ubi, who once dated and dumped Emma Nyra, unsuccessfully made all attempts to bring back his wife and son but this met a brick wall from Lillian.
Meanwhile, Lillian Esoro has also assumed a single status. As a matter of fact she did that last year when she changed her marital name to her maiden name.
In one of her posts after walking out of the marriage, Lillian wrote:
“Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t let the voice of others opinion silence your own inner voice, and most importantly, follow your own heart and intuition.”
Obviously, Mama and Papa Jayden are following their hearts.
