Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has achieved a major milestone as her film Oversabi Aunty has been declared the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time in West Africa.
The achievement was reached just 18 days after the movie’s cinema release, with box office earnings surpassing ₦711 million. The announcement was made by the movie’s distributor, FilmOne Entertainment, on their official Instagram page.
According to FilmOne, Oversabi Aunty grossed ₦711.5 million, securing its spot as the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood film in the region and the second highest-grossing movie of the weekend.
The post read: “West Africa, you showed up and showed out in an Oversabi way. Thank you for the love.
“In just 18 days, Oversabi Aunty grossed N711.5M, making it the 4th Highest Nollywood Film of all time in West Africa.
“Thank you to everyone for the love and support so far.
“This win is for all of us.”

Oversabi Aunty has surpassed the box office earnings of previous hits, including Funke Akindele’s Battle on Buka Street (2022) and Omo Ghetto: The Saga (2020), which earned over ₦660 million and ₦630 million respectively.
The film’s success further cements Toyin Abraham’s growing influence as both an actress and producer in the Nollywood industry.
