Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti lauded Kylian Mbappe on Saturday, describing the French forward as “humble” and commending his increasing impact on the pitch.
Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid last summer, has gradually settled into his role, scoring 16 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions this season.

The 26-year-old has been pivotal for Madrid, netting in all three finals they have played this season: the European Super Cup, Spanish Super Cup, and Intercontinental Cup.
His recent fine solo goals further highlight his form as the Spanish champions prepare to host Las Palmas in La Liga on Sunday.
“Every day that passes, he looks more and more involved,” Ancelotti said during a press conference. “On the pitch, his level keeps rising, and off it, he remains calm, available, and humble. It’s impressive how he keeps improving match by match.”
Real Madrid currently sit second in LaLiga, trailing leaders Atletico Madrid by just one point. Sunday’s game also marks the potential return of Austrian defender David Alaba, who has been out of action since December 2023 with a knee injury.
Additionally, Brazilian teenager Endrick, fresh off scoring twice in extra time to secure a Copa del Rey victory against Celta Vigo, is expected to be on the bench. Despite his recent heroics, Ancelotti hinted at starting regulars Brahim Diaz, Mbappe, and Rodrygo, with Vinicius Junior suspended.
Kylian Mbappe’s resurgence comes at a crucial time for Real Madrid as they aim to reclaim the top spot in LaLiga while juggling commitments in the Champions League. Fans will look forward to seeing if Mbappe can continue his scintillating form against Las Palmas.
