Nollywood actress, Funmi Martins would be turning in pains in her grave now.
Funmi Martins who died in 2002 at age 38 years is survived by her daughters and a son.
Mide, who is Funmi Martins firstborn is married to her mother’s personal assistant, Afeez Abiodun aka Afeez Owo.
Well, don’t forget that Funmi Martins had a baby boy who was still breastfeeding when she died in 2002. His name is Damilare Shina Peters.
The 19-year-old boy is in the news lately.
Surprisingly, Damilare has confessed that his sister, Mide Martins had abandoned him with his uncle who lives in Sango Ota, Ogun State.
To Damilare whose father is Bishop Shina Peters, life has been difficult and he had to drop out of school due to lack of funds.
According to a blog, Gistslovers, Mide Funmi-Martins, had neglected her role as a sister and even blocked her brother on WhatsApp in order to restrict any form of communication with him.
The blog reported:

Got the late Funmi Martins pregnant (Mide’s Mum) and she bore a son before dying. Do you know till now he hasn’t checked up on that boy- Damilare. He is 19 now and just saw his father recently, Even when they saw; SSP was quick to discharge him at his Iju residence claiming he’ll send something to him. That boy is not living okay as he’s living with his Uncle who more or less is struggling to take care of him. They have contributed their quota from Damilare’s childhood when he was living with his Grandma before she passed on. It’s just so unfortunate that Damilare is really going through all this. His education is on hold as there’s no money to push his academics further.

A woman, celebrity, mother and Sister to Damilare doesn’t send him at all. He’s tried to reach out to her where she blocked him on WhatsApp saying his wahala is too much. How can you neglect and abandon your own blood brother and be doing Yeyebrity up and down, the husband who be Funmi martins worker/driver sef bone the boy, make una beg aunty Mide Yeyebrity to take care of her brother o, Igi ewedu oni wolu wa o.” (sic)
Meanwhile, in a new video released by the blog, Damilare confirmed being abandoned by his sister.
“I have not seen her in six years now, the last time we saw at our grandmother’s burial…..she doesn’t send me money…I finished my SSCE last year, I am trying to gain admission into the university but no financial help….” he disclosed.
Meanwhile, fans have stormed the social media pages of Sir Shina Peters, Mide Martins and Afeez Owo to query them for not doing the needful.
Bombarding Afeez Owo’s instagram page, followers chided him for not taking care of his late boss’ son.
One Adeyemi wrote. “Stop living for d gram..takcare of Damilare..ur ogas son…Damilare will be fine🙏🏽oju mati gbogbo yin (God will shame you people) 😏eyin werey”
Shina Peters’ Instagram page has also being bombarded with curses and queries from his followers.
“How dare you accept title to become a Bishop and you have kids out there suffering. You are wicked sir, with all the money you have, and your kids are dropping out of school cos of lack of finances, shame on you,” one Tolani wrote.
