Fuji maestro, Alhaji Ayinde Wasiu Anifowoshe aka KWAM 1 De Ultimate, who is now the Mayegun of Yorubaland, doesn’t hide the fact that he loves and adores Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa.
He would always tell whoever cares to listen that he loves Dayo Amusa because she is very intelligent.
The pair (K1 and Dayo), used to be intimately close and rumour mills went agog with the news of K1 trying to put a ring on the intimate friendship.
“Dayo Amusa was a favourite of K1 De Ultimate and was a constant visitor to the musician’s Ojushagbon’s mansion in Ijebu, Ogun State.
Whenever she came around, he pampered her, made her good meals and sang for her. In fact, she would have become his official Mrs. before he married Titilope Masha officially in 2018. Everyone in Ijebu was aware of the affair and thought things would lead to the altar but alas! Dayo’s mum kicked against it. Despite this, K1 still adores her and she still laps his love like a puppy with a bone,” sources revealed to Kemi Ashefon.
The ‘intimate friends’ still keep in touch.
The buxom actress, who seems to have accepted her fate of never going to be a Mrs Anifowoshe, has turned the other way and started dating Wale Ade, an auto merchant based in the United States of America.
‘Dayo has moved on with her life and now getting serious with her US-based guy. There was a time she flaunted his photos on Instagram. Aside that, she helps displays his cars for sale on her page. She is still a ‘friend’ of K1 and this has put her on the ‘hate-list’ of actresses like Bisola Badmus,” sources said.
Bisola Badmus? Yes, she is the Nollywood actress who had a baby boy (he should be eight years old come June) for KWAM1.
Unfortunately, she has not gotten a ring from the newly installed Mayegun of Yorubaland.
Well, back to Dayo Amusa. Though she is still a ‘friend’ of K1, she still puts up on social media that she cannot date married men. In an interview with a national newspaper, Dayo advised young girls against being ‘side chics’.
She said, “Frankly, as a public figure and based on what I stand for, I would not encourage a young lady to chase after married men. Some might say that married men would take good care of them, but it is wrong. It is not something I would encourage the youth to do.”
Well, she congratulated her ‘intimate friend’ on Instagram recently on his new chieftancy title and also stormed the Oyo palace of Alaafin in unique fashion.
Dayo, who didn’t bother to wear the gold aso ebi chosen by K1’s wife, Titi Anifowoshe, for some of her friends, went for a yellow attire instead.
With sunshades that nailed her ‘Owambe’ look, Dayo obviously attended the ceremony and after-party with just a purpose—to have fun.
Of course, she did have the fun and has been splashing photos on Instagram with this caption, “At the coronation ceremony of the first Mayegun Of Yoruba Land @kingwasiuayindemarshal Congratulations”
