Afrobeats superstar Davido has condemned a shocking video showing a student being bullied at Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State.
The viral footage shows two male students assaulting another student lying on the ground. One attacker dragged the victim by his school uniform and stepped on his chest, while a third student filming the incident pleaded with them to stop.
Responding on X, Davido expressed his outrage.
“F***ing Animals… so disgusting,” he wrote.
The video drew widespread condemnation online, prompting swift action from the school authorities. According to a statement from the Edo State Police Command, signed by Police Public Relations Officer Eno Ikioedem, the students directly involved in the assault have been expelled, while the student who recorded the video has been suspended.
The statement also noted that the Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Monday Agbonika, has ordered a detailed investigation into the matter.

“The Edo State Police Command totally condemns acts of bullying, violence, or intimidation among students, and anyone found culpable will be dealt with in accordance with the law,” the statement said.
Authorities assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that those responsible will face legal action appropriate to their age.
