Billionaire businessman and chairman of the Ibru Organisation Oskar Ibru, is dead.
He was aged 67.
The Ibru family announced that he died after a brief illness but did not provide further details.
Mr Ibru was one of the heirs of the Ibru dynasty founded by his late father, Michael Ibru, who died in 2016.
He played a key role in sustaining and expanding the family conglomerate with interests in shipping, oil and gas, real estate and commerce.
Under his leadership, the group maintained its place in Nigeria’s corporate sector while also supporting philanthropic and cultural activities
