Access Bank Botswana, a subsidiary of Access Bank Group, has been recognised internationally for its innovation, customer-focused solutions, and social impact, winning three prestigious awards.
In a statement on December 3, 2025, the Bank highlighted that these accolades reflect its commitment to transforming Botswana’s financial landscape through digital excellence and purpose-driven banking.
The Bank was named Best Digital Banking Initiative, Botswana at The Digital Banker Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards 2025 for its ‘SalaryAdvance’ solution. The fully digital, short-term credit facility allows salaried customers to access up to 200% of their monthly salary instantly via mobile app and USSD, combining convenience, transparent pricing, and automated repayments to enhance financial inclusion and engagement.
Access Bank Botswana also received two awards from the Global Banking & Finance Awards®️: Best Bank for Digital Transformation, Botswana 2025, recognising its Women Banking Initiative (W Initiative) that empowers women entrepreneurs and professionals through tailored financial solutions, capacity-building, and financial literacy programmes; and Best CSR Programme for Employee Engagement, Botswana 2025, acknowledging the Bank’s contributions to health, education, entrepreneurship, youth development, and environmental sustainability.
