Chelsea F.C. have reportedly decided to part ways with manager Liam Rosenior following a disappointing run of results in the Premier League.
The decision was made on Wednesday evening, just a day after Chelsea suffered a 3–0 defeat to Brighton, a result that further damaged their push for Champions League qualification.
The loss left the London club sitting seventh on the table, with pressure mounting after a string of poor performances.
Rosenior’s tenure was marked by a run of five consecutive league defeats, with the team failing to score in any of those matches.
The 39-year-old had joined Chelsea in January after leaving Strasbourg, replacing Enzo Maresca in a mid-season managerial change.

Football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on X, writing: “Chelsea have decided to SACK Liam Rosenior with immediate effect.
“It’s OVER after 4 months, and 5 consecutive defeats with 0 goals scored.”
The club is now expected to begin the search for a new manager as the season approaches its final stretch.
