The elder sister of controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has publicly apologized to Nigerians for her brother’s erratic behavior, claiming that a family member is spiritually influencing him.
Allegations of Manipulation
In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), Portable’s sister, who introduced herself as the first child of their mother, revealed how the singer has been the backbone of their family, especially during her health struggles.
She accused a certain family member, Akeem, of manipulating Portable, leading to his frequent controversies. She further warned that if anything happens to her or the singer, Akeem should be held responsible.
“Portable has never stolen. No one helped us in the past, but when he started making money, he took care of us.”
“If not for Portable, I would have died. But this Akeem is the one influencing him and making him misbehave.”
