They dated for 11 years, they have been married for eight years and he calls her his soulmate of 21 years.
For comedian, Owen Osemwengie a.k.a Owen Gee, life is incomplete without Moyo his wife. As they celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on May 28, he wrote:
“A HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO US, I CELEBRATE YOU WIFEY @moyoowengee, WE HAVE BEEN SOULMATES FOR 21YEARS AND MARRIED 8 YEARS, YOU ARE EVERYTHING TO ME AND COMPLETE MY EXISTENCE, MY LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER DIE.” (sic)
However, the comedian in an interview had disclosed the secret of his lasting marriage:
“We got married when I was 31. By then, we had dated for about 11 years. I did not marry her for love because after 10 years in a relationship, you begin to ask yourself what that word love means. I married her because she is a friend I can’t do without.”
