Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has made history after surpassing 11 billion streams on Spotify across all song credits, becoming the first African artiste to achieve the feat.
The milestone was revealed on Tuesday by music analytics platform Chart Africa in a post shared on X.
The platform announced, “Wizkid becomes the first African artist EVER to cross 11 Billion Spotify streams across all credits”.
The achievement arrives just days after the release of Wizkid’s latest collaboration with DJ Tunez titled State of Mind.
