Nollywood actress Uche Montana has publicly rejected claims linking her to the alleged drug issues in the home of actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress issued a statement on her Instagram page on Monday, clarifying her position amid accusations by Nwoko, who had alleged that some of Regina’s friends and relatives—including Montana and actress Sonia Uche—interfered with her rehabilitation.
According to Nwoko, the group ignored medical protocols restricting access to Regina during therapy and allegedly “bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.”
Addressing the rumors, Montana wrote, “My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

Her statement comes as the debate around Regina Daniels’ marital life continues to make headlines. Two weeks ago, Regina appeared in a viral video claiming she was being abused at home and describing herself as a “slave” in her husband’s house.
Senator Nwoko has dismissed these allegations, stating that Regina struggles with “drug and alcohol addiction” and has at times been violent toward domestic staff. Meanwhile, Regina has accused Nwoko of introducing her to the substances he now blames, restricting her freedom, taking her phones, and forcing himself on her when she resisted.
Montana’s response aims to clarify her position and protect her personal reputation, as speculation continues to swirl online.
