Since Wednesday when the news broke that Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has not only put to bed but also married Kola Ajeyemi, another actor, it has been celebration galore on social media.
Photos of the couple littered everywhere, congratulatory messages poured in and then, the videos of photo sessions kept emerging.
A celebration indeed it was for many especially fans and followers of the actress who regard themselves as ToyinTitans.
But this seems to have opened up room for discord, anger and hate.
Kemiashefonlovehaven exclusively gathered that many of these fans are fanning embers of discord among stars.
Since Wednesday, any actor or celebrity who did not put up a congratulatory post for Toyin’s baby comes under a vibrant and deliberate attack from the numerous followers.
Their comments are toxic too.
Ever ready to throw ‘missiles’ at anyone, the fans were everywhere on Instagram looking for who to attack in the comment sections—the most attacked actor remains Toyin’s ex husband Adeniyi Johnson.
If only Mercy Aigbe knew he would be attacked, she wouldn’t have said anything when Adeniyi Johnson congratulated Toyin.
Prior to this, another Nollywood actress, Wunmi Toriola had put up two posts of Toyin, her new husband and baby on her Instagram handle.
Initially, there was peace but at a point, some fans visited the page and started their ‘war of words’.
When a comment appeared that was too negative for Wunmi to bear, she deleted all the posts and gave out a warning!
When Kemiashefonlovehaven contacted Wunmi Toriola, who is best friend to Adeniyi Johnson’s fiancée, Seyi Edun, she refused to comment.
“I don’t want war, I am for peace. I have already congratulated her and that’s all,” she told Kemi Ashefon.
Well, here is the post she featured as a warning to the fans and Toyin.
For Tonto Dikeh, who was ecstatic about Toyin’s engagement last year to a lawyer, mum has been the response from her end since the birth of Toyin’s baby.
The single mother of one who was very excited about her colleague, Toyin Abraham’s engagement, made a video, happily jumping and throwing her hands in the air in excitement and wrote, “ Me when I heard about my baby girl, my lover, worlds best is Engaged.”
She hasn’t put up any post on the wedding or newborn. Kemiashefonlovehaven observed that Tonto Dikeh’s last post on Instagram was four days ago.
Her best friend, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky hasn’t sent any shout-out to Toyin either.
Meanwhile, Toyin’s protege, Nkechi Sunday Blessing is set to have another war with anyone who diverts her attention from the celebration ongoing. In a video on Instastory, she has been hurling insults at some actors and accused them of hating on one another. She wondered why Instagram could mean so much to cause discord in the industry.
Though she didn’t mention names, she opined that someday, some actors will kill one another with guns all because of Instagram posts.
