President Bola Tinubu has revealed his stance on reelection in 2027.

Currently, Tinubu disclosed he is not thinking of 2027 election, rather, he is thinking of the next generation and what his administration would offer.

He also opined that a time will come when Nigerians will appreciate his administration for taking tough policies.

Speaking at an event of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State on Saturday, October 5, the President, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, also said that he is not thinking about the 2027 election.

“We acknowledge that our decisions have been tough, but they needed to be taken. The gains are at the end of the tunnel. That time will come when we will all be happy and thank our government for taking those decisions. Right now, I am not thinking of the next election but about the next generation.

This is why we are implementing reforms that are long overdue. This is the hallmark of a true leader,” he said.
