The Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Alumni Association has granted scholarships to six top-performing 200-level students from the institution’s six colleges.
Bolaji Oladeji, the National President of TASUED Alumni, revealed in a statement on Thursday that the scholarship program, which covers full tuition fees for the beneficiaries, was established to reward academic excellence and foster a strong reading culture among students.
The awards were presented during the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students on January 8, 2025.
In his address, Oladeji encouraged the new students to focus on their academic goals and avoid distractions, including cultism, examination malpractice, and drug abuse, which he described as detrimental to their future success.
