Sister Of Queen Naomi, Ooni’s Estranged Wife, Shares Health Update After Arrest

Similoluwa Oluwaseyi, sister of Queen Naomi, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, has raised concerns over Naomi’s health following her arrest in connection with the tragic Ibadan stampede that claimed 35 lives.

In a heartfelt series of Instagram posts, Similoluwa extended condolences to the bereaved families while detailing her sister’s ordeal during her detention by the Department of State Services (DSS).

According to Similoluwa, Queen Naomi collapsed during an interrogation on the third day of her detention and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Despite her critical health condition, Naomi was later arraigned in court.

She further disclosed that doctors warned about Queen Naomi’s elevated blood pressure (BP) and revealed that her sister had been denied access to her phone and family during the six days of detention.

In her post, Similoluwa expressed her grief and concern:
“I deeply sympathize with the families of the children who lost their lives. My sister was arrested and detained for over six days, collapsing on the third day of interrogation by the DSS and being rushed to the hospital.

The updates have sparked reactions on social media, with many calling for a fair and thorough investigation into the incident while ensuring Queen Naomi’s health and rights are safeguarded.
