Popular prophet, Prophet Ayodele, has pledged to give N1 million to gospel singer Busola Oke, who recently revealed her struggles in the music industry and announced her decision to quit due to mounting pressures.
Busola Oke made headlines after opening up about the difficulties of sustaining a living through gospel music, lamenting that talent alone does not guarantee financial stability. In an emotional interview with Biola Bayo, she admitted to crying on a live video because she felt lonely, depressed, frustrated, and hungry.
“I didn’t ask for help from people because that isn’t who I am,” she said. She further disclosed that she currently has no car, owes several people, and struggles to pay for a hotel that costs N55,000 per day.
In response, Prophet Ayodele offered financial support, but with a strict condition: she must visit his church today to access the gift.

“What is the name of that one that is crying on the Internet? Busola Eleyele, come to my church on Sunday, and I will give you N1million to support you. If you like, come; if you like, don’t come. If you come after Sunday, I will not attend to you. I didn’t say you should come and sing for me, and I am not using this to impress anybody. I have passed the stage where I will be impressing anyone,” the prophet said.
The gesture comes as a timely lifeline for the singer amid her public revelation of the challenges she faces in pursuing a sustainable gospel music career.
