Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, and his wife, Cristina Serra, have amicably ended their 30-year relationship, a development confirmed on Monday by SPORT.

The separation, described as “cordial, stable, and friendly,” reportedly stems from the couple growing apart after years of living in different countries due to work commitments. Guardiola and Serra first crossed paths in 1994 and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony near Barcelona in 2014.
They share three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17. While Pep Guardiola remains in Manchester for his coaching duties, Serra has been living full-time in Barcelona with their youngest daughter, Valentina.
The Brazilian journalist and fashion entrepreneur left Manchester in 2019 to dedicate herself to her family’s fashion business, Serra Claret. Despite her relocation, she was frequently seen alongside Pep Guardiola at various events as recently as last year.
Sources revealed that the decision to part ways was made in December, with only close friends and family initially aware of the situation. To protect their privacy, those within their inner circle have been asked not to disclose further details about the split.
Meanwhile, Guardiola’s professional life continues to thrive. In November, the Manchester City boss signed a two-year contract extension, committing to the Premier League champions until 2027, despite earlier speculations about his potential exit.
This marks a significant personal chapter for the football legend as he continues to balance his career and personal life.
