Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has said he still irons his wife’s clothes.

He disclosed this on his official twitter handle.

In a series of tweets on humility which he shared last Saturday, the 72-year-old cleric fondly called Daddy G.O, further said being a leader means serving others and any RCCG Pastor who is not humble wasn’t ordained by him.

Does this mean men should serve their wives?

“That tweet on ironing clothes for his wife doesn’t mean he does it everyday. Go and read it well. I iron my wife’s clothes sometimes but when she took it as my duty, I stopped,” said Clement, 43, a father of two.

“Men should help their wives with house chores and that’s what Baba is preaching. If a woman can do all the chores at home, what stops her husband from ironing her clothes? We should learn to help each other at home,” said Mrs. Ekene, a housewife.
