Los Angeles – The 98th Academy Awards saw Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another emerge as the night’s biggest winner, claiming the Best Picture title along with multiple key honors.

Anderson was celebrated as Best Director, while the film also earned awards for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Film Editing, solidifying its sweep of major categories.

Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which topped the nomination list with 16 nods, took home Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Cinematography, marking a strong showing for the critically acclaimed drama.

In acting categories, Jessie Buckley was named Best Actress for her performance in Hamnet, Sean Penn won Best Supporting Actor for One Battle After Another, and Amy Madigan received Best Supporting Actress for her role in Weapons.
