Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the general overseer of Omega Power Ministries, has revealed why he cursed the Happie Boys.
After openly criticising the OPM Pastor and accusing him of abandoning them after flying them to Cyprus, Happie Boyz, Matthew Precious Kelechi, and Amakor Johnson became internet sensations.
In response, the enraged preacher cursed the young guys in a voice message that was posted on Instagram by the youngsters.
In a recent development, apostle Chibuzor reaffirmed that he did not forsake the boys while speaking to media at a news conference in Port Harcourt.
He said that despite everything the Happie Boys had done to him, he had forgiven them. He also said that the curse was put on them before the guys voiced their complaints in public.
OPM Pastor said that when the guys called him out on Instagram and he cursed them, he felt bad and regretted sending them overseas.
He stated:
“First of all, I’ve pardoned them. A curse is said out of rage. The fact that they are my children is why I have forgiven them.
It is incorrect to claim that the pastor abandoned the boys, the pastor continued. He said that the rising dollar exchange rate throughout the world prevented him from continuing to finance the lads in their foreign education.
