Chief Leemon Ikpea, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer Lee Engineering and Construction Company, must definitely be in the good books of former president Olusegun Obasanjo to have treated him and a few friends to a sumptuous dinner last weekend.
The dinner, which held at Ikpea’s Banana Island residence had in attendance, friends and family members of the billionaire businessman.
Not known to embrace undue publicity, Chief Leemon Ikpea, who graduated from Harvard Business School in March 2017, was elated having Obasanjo in his home.
Present at Ikpea’s dinner were Princess Biodun Omotade; Otunba Fasawe, Publisher, Ovation, Chief Dele Momodu; Timi Alaibe and a host of other prominent Nigerians.
Ikpea, who has earned two doctorate degrees from the Ambrose Alli University and Benson Idahosa University respectively, doesn’t strike you as a billionaire. His simplicity is unrivalled.
The founder of the Agbonjagwe Foundation, he would always tell you that the deprivation he suffered financially during his youthful days, is what drives him not to want any youth with potential to suffer same fate, thereby granting numerous scholarships to students in need.
