Nigerian model Olajumoke Orisaguna, widely known as Olajumoke Onibread, has reacted to online speculation following a viral TikTok video that drew mixed reactions from fans.
The clip, which showed her singing in a freestyle manner, triggered concern among some viewers, with a number of social media users suggesting she may have taken up smoking or drinking.
Addressing the reactions, Olajumoke clarified that the video was created solely for entertainment and urged the public not to misinterpret her actions.
“I’m not happy about the comments I saw on my video. Some people were saying that I now smoke and drink alcohol. Why would anyone think that about me? It was just content. I know some people understood that, but it was only content,” she said.
“I don’t smoke or drink — I wasn’t raised that way. Please, I’m begging you all, don’t give me a reputation that isn’t mine. Even when I go to parties and I’m offered a drink, I simply leave it on the table.
“Please understand, it was all just content. Even the song I was singing is not mine.”
Olajumoke first gained public attention in 2016 after unexpectedly appearing in a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah, a moment captured by photographer TY Bello that transformed her into a household name.
Following her rise to fame, she ventured into modelling and media, before stepping away from the spotlight for a period.

She later resurfaced in 2024 with a radio programme titled Kilon Shele, where she began opening up about her personal journey, including challenges with past management and experiences in her former marriage.
Her recent statement comes as she seeks to correct public perception and reassure fans about her lifestyle.
