The last 24 hours have been ‘drama’ full for talented actor, Odunlade Adekola. First, he shared a video where he rained curses on those who wished him dead.

According to him, that was the fifth time of being rumoured death and he could not take it again.

He said in Yoruba, “I am so surprised to hear it again that I am dead. This will be the fifth time and it is becoming unbearable. It has gotten to that level in which I have to voice out. Eyin temi, ni agbara Olorun, ao ni foju sunkun ara wa ooooo,” (sic)

Though some of his fans are asked that he pulld down the post and not curse, the actor didn’t bulge.

But just a few hours ago, Odun decided pulling down the video and shared another post.

He wrote: I want to use this medium to thank and appreciate my fans for all the calls, comments, DMs, messages etc concerning the aforementioned issue. Thank you for all the prayers. We will not die prematurely.. Ese modupe oo imo Esu koni jo lori wa.. (Amin).” (sic)

Blame him? There have been recurring deaths in the industry currently and in Abeokuta alone, three actors had died within seven months.
In November 2016, an old actress, Kudirat Ajimati aka Ajimat, died from an undisclosed illness.
The next death was another Nollywood actress, Modupe Oyekunle, who died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Then, in May 2017, another Nollywood Yoruba Actor, Adeshina Adesanya aka Pastor Ajidara, succumbed to death after a battle with kidney failure.
