The Nollywood community is in deep mourning following the death of veteran actor and television personality Columbus Irosoanga. The heartbreaking news was announced on Instagram today by renowned movie star Hilda Dokubo, who expressed her sorrow and paid tribute to the late actor.


In her emotional post, Dokubo wrote: “There can’t be a shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers State Nollywood. Our uncle Coli @colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the Lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu.”
Columbus Irosoanga, a native of Okrika, Rivers State, was not only a beloved actor but also served as a senior lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt. Throughout his illustrious career, he starred in popular films such as “Issakaba” (2003) and “7 Kilometre” (2015), leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
