Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has reiterated his doubts about the paternity of Liam, the son his late son reportedly had with Omowunmi.
In a recent interview on Silverbird Television, Aloba insisted on the need for a DNA test to determine whether Liam is indeed his biological grandson.
Aloba’s Concerns
When asked if Liam bore any resemblance to Mohbad, Aloba said: “No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me. When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say, ‘Daddy, go and do it at your convenient time.’ It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.”
He maintained that he would only acknowledge Liam as his grandson if the DNA test confirmed the relationship.
Background
Mohbad’s untimely death on September 12, 2023, shocked the nation, sparking widespread speculation and an ongoing investigation. The late singer left behind his wife, Omowunmi, and their son, Liam.
