Kanye West, a well-known American rapper and fashion designer, has reached a divorce settlement with his wife, Kim Kardashian, months after their separation.
This comes just a month after several companies severed ties with the fashion designer due to offensive and anti-Semitic remarks that have further harmed an already tarnished public image.
Since their divorce, the couple has been in the spotlight over property and child custody issues.
However, court documents filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court by their attorneys revealed that they had reached an agreement and requested that the judge approve their agreed terms.
The divorce agreement states that Ye will pay Kim $200,000 per month in child support, that the couple will have joint custody, and that neither will pay the other spousal support.
It is believed that the agreement was reached to avoid the trial, which was scheduled to begin next month.
West has been in the news recently for contentious reasons.
In October, the ‘Donda’ singer was chastised for making anti-Semitic remarks.

Kanye West proposed to Kardashian afterthe birth of their first child in 2013, and the couple married in May 2014.
It was Kardashian’s third marriage as a reality TV star, businesswoman, and influencer, and Ye’s first. Their wedding was one of the most closely watched celebrity marriages in recent decades.
