Hoodlums on Saturday broke into the residence of Teslim Folarin, the senator representing Oyo Central senatorial district in the National Assembly.
According to reports, they shattered the entrance doors and windows of the politician’s home located at Oluyole Estate, Ibadan, carting away some of his personal effects worth millions of naira.
Senator Folarin confirmed the incident on Fresh 105.9FM during a telephone interview.
He revealed that about 300 motorcycles, and other household items, which were meant for the empowerment of his constituents, were looted.
“I am relieved because no life was lost,” he said.
