Halima Abubakar On Her Knees, Begs Apostle Johnson Suleman For All Lies She Told Against Him

Actress Halima Abubakar has issued a public letter of apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman, marking a significant turn in a controversy that has garnered widespread attention over the years.

Halima posted the letter on her Instagram page on Wednesday with the caption, “A letter to Apostle Johnson Suleman.”

The letter titled “Personal letter of apology” detailed her reasons for offering the apology, acknowledging the gravity of her previous actions.

“I am writing to you today to acknowledge the falsehoods I made against you on social media and to offer my sincerest apology.

“After deep reflections, and for my conscience to be in accord with God, I have realized the depth of the harm, pains and distress caused by my lies,” she wrote.

The actress admitted to making false allegations against Suleman, adding that she regrets the pain and distress caused to him, his wife Lizzy Suleman, their family and the leaders of Omega Fire Ministries.

She expressed her hope that the letter would open the door to his forgiveness, acknowledging that an apology alone cannot undo the damage done.

In the letter, Halima also praised Suleman’s contributions to humanity, asking him to extend forgiveness towards her.

She concluded, “Once again Sir, I am truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and your ministry. Thank you very much, and may the heavens calm your heart. God bless you sir.”

In April, the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja fined Halima N10 million as damages for defaming Suleman.

The fine came after Suleman filed a lawsuit against her in 2022 following her allegations that he failed to marry her as promised.
