Serie A: Fiorentina have completed the loan signing of Nicolo Fagioli from Juventus, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Serie A: The 23-year-old Italian midfielder, who rose through Juventus’ academy, has struggled for playing time under manager Thiago Motta, featuring for just 10 minutes in the last five Serie A matches.
Fagioli recently returned to action after serving a seven-month suspension for breaching betting regulations. Despite the setback, he made it to Italy’s Euro 2024 squad and has earned seven caps for the national team.
Currently sitting sixth in the league, Fiorentina will host Inter Milan on Thursday in the continuation of December’s abandoned fixture, which was halted after Edoardo Bove collapsed in the 17th minute. However, Fagioli will not be available for this match.
The midfielder is expected to make his debut against Inter when Fiorentina travel to San Siro on Monday to face the defending champions.
