This is definitely a joyous occasion for the Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and his wife Hadiza Isma.
The couple, who just welcomed a grand-daughter named her after their late eldest daughter, Yasmin.
Yasmin, 25, was found dead in the bath at her Belvedere Heights home on November 27 2011. She was said to have suffered an epileptic fit. The deceased, who had studied professional law, gained a degree from the University of Bath and was studying for a master’s from the London School of Economics before her untimely death.
In July 2017, her parents launched a foundation, Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation (YELF), in her memory.
Recently, the sorrows of losing Yasmin ended with the arrival of Yasmin el-Rufai Jnr.
