Davido, the popular Afrobeats musician and a new father, has expressed his gratitude to God following the birth of his twins. It was reported that the artist and his wife Chioma welcomed a set of twins, a boy, and a girl this week.

Although the couple did not confirm the rumors, Davido hinted at his wife becoming “Mama Ibeji” (mother of twins) in his song “In The Garden,” which also features Morravey.

Davido had previously tweeted that the coming week would be his finest week ever.

As he expressed his gratitude to God on Twitter, his brother Adewale Adeleke added to the speculation. The news was further confirmed when a video of Davido and Chioma leaving the hospital with their twins surfaced online.

On his Instagram page, Davido, who tragically lost his son Ifeanyi last year, shared a post about facing life’s challenges with the confidence in the greatness of one’s God.
