The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, has assured party members that the party will fully participate in the 2027 general elections, despite ongoing legal disputes.
He gave the assurance on Wednesday night after receiving a briefing from the party’s legal team on a recent Federal High Court judgment in Abuja, which has triggered further legal action.
Mark dismissed fears within the party over the litigations, insisting that the ADC remains confident of victory in all cases.
“You do not have anything to be afraid of regarding all the litigations before the party,” he said.
“I want to assure you that we shall triumph in all the cases, and we shall be on the ballot for every election.”
He added that the party is fully prepared to pursue all available legal channels, stressing that he would personally oversee the process.
“We are more than ready for these cases and will do everything within the ambit of the law to surmount every situation,” Mark stated.

According to party officials, the ADC’s legal team has already filed an appeal and requested a stay of execution, as part of efforts to challenge the court ruling.
The assurance comes as the party steps up preparations for the 2027 elections, which it sees as crucial for strengthening its political relevance.
Earlier, the legal team had briefed party leaders on the implications of the judgment and outlined strategies moving forward, as the ADC seeks to consolidate support and remain a strong contender in the next electoral cycle.
