Champions League: Guardiola Questions Himself as M.City Faces Crisis

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admitted to questioning his management after a 2-0 defeat to Juventus in Turin on Wednesday. The loss marks City’s seventh defeat in their last ten matches across all competitions, placing their Champions League last-16 qualification at serious risk.

When asked if he was reassessing his approach, Guardiola responded candidly:

“Yeah, of course. I question myself in the good moments and the bad moments. I was stable in the good moments and I’m stable in the bad moments… My biggest challenge is to achieve results and continue to work.

City’s Champions League hopes hang in the balance, as they sit just one point above the bottom 12 positions, which would mean elimination.

They are five points away from the top-eight places that guarantee automatic qualification, with tough matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Club Brugge still to play.

Domestically, City face additional pressure with a Premier League clash against rivals Manchester United on Sunday. Guardiola’s side trails league leaders Liverpool by eight points, adding to their mounting challenges.
