Pa Simon Soludo, the father of Anambra State governor Chukwuma Soludo, has passed away at the age of 92. He departed in the early hours of Monday, November 6, 2023, after a period of illness.
The news of Pa Soludo’s passing was officially conveyed in a brief statement by Mr. Christian Aburime, the Press Secretary of the Governor. The statement also provided some family details, indicating that Pa Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, twenty-two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo acknowledged that his late father had lived a fulfilled life and reached the ripe age of ninety-two.
