Alaafin’s Young Runaway Wives Mourn Him …Barred From Entering Oyo Palace

As expected, they have started writing epistles on the passing of their 83-year-old husband and father to their young children.

Of course, many are sympathizing with them on social media as they keep posting and writing what the late king meant to them.

For former queens—Badirat, Anuoluwapo and Damilola— life has taken another turn now because they have princes and princesses in their care who are also entitled to whatever inheritance their father left behind.

But these runaway wives/mothers probably must have robbed their children of such privileges since they abandoned the palace while the king was alive.

Badirat Olaitan, who was the first to leave in 2020 after series of allegation of infidelity, was the first to come online to mourn her husband.

Kicking off her epistle with Islamic citations, the mum of three princes, was also of the belief that the monarch didn’t die as reported by the media. She went ahead to reveal that she was his favourite until evil forces took over and their relationship ‘flopped’.

She wrote:Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un”.

Daddy… Word fail me but
اَللّٰهُ أَعْلَم (Allahu’ alam-God knows better”).

I was thinking it’s all lies and that you are coming back but I’m afraid I was wrong.

The father of my kids, that I met at an impressionable age left when it was least expected. Whenever I tell people that the bond we share can be likened to that of a “Siamese”, having been married to you at age 19, they are more that transfixed.

We were practically best of friends but the moment they had an inklings about whom your favorite was, everything flopped.

Alas! the kids and I can’t see you anymore nor converse with you any longer but I vehemently believe you are seeing us, how I wish we can still have few words because I’ve got a whole lot to tell you. I’m bereft of what to tell the boys especially, Adejuwon, because at his age, he reads and and surf the net so much that curiosity gets hold of him and has already know a lot about you.

You remain to me, a best father, teacher and mentor and husband that ever bestrode the landscapes.

Almighty Allah will forgive all your sins and accept your return.

For Anuoluwapo, the former queen who came online in 2021 to hint her followers of the late monarch’s attempt on her life, had decided to mourn him. The mum of a set of twins who left the palace in Oyo in 2021 in controversial circumstances with another young queen, Damilola, said of the late king, “To him we came, to him we shall return, may your soul rest in peace as you sojourn to you maker.”

For the prodigal queen Damilola, all is not well with her and her in-laws including step children who sent her and her mother away from mourning in the palace last Saturday in Oyo town

Recall Damilola fled with former Queen Anuoluwapo earlier in the 2021 but returned.

She fled again.

Damilola, who was flaunting her new lifestyle on Instagram,  dressed in sexy dresses with tattoos on her chest had accused the king of ill-treating her. She even  posted that she wasn’t going back!

However, the prodigal queen, who was obviously broke, sent a message on Instagram to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and all his children, seeking forgiveness.

She was rejected by the late monarch again.

The former queen, who must have gone to the palace to secure her place after the demise of the monarch but was rejected again wrote on Instagram, “Haaaaaaa.Inalilahi wahina ilehi Rojihuna

Then she wrote on another video post of the late monarch, “IKU You will forever be in my hearts 😭😭😭😭” (sic)
