Lola Omotayo, the wife of singer Peter Okoye, has addressed the recent wave of support she has received from Nigerians following fresh revelations surrounding the prolonged conflict between the P-Square brothers.
For years, Lola was at the centre of speculation over the strained relationship between Peter and his twin brother, Paul Okoye. Some Nigerians had accused her of being responsible for the disagreement between the siblings, which became more pronounced after Peter and Paul got married.
However, the narrative appeared to change after Peter recently made several allegations against Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Peter accused the pair of contributing to the collapse of P-Square and alleged that royalties belonging to the music group, running into millions of dollars, were diverted into a company reportedly owned by Jude and his wife, Ifeoma.
Following Peter’s allegations, some Nigerians revisited the accusations previously made against Lola and began apologising to her on social media. Many also praised her for standing by Peter despite the years of public criticism directed at her.
Lola has now responded to the renewed attention with a message encouraging women to remain confident in themselves regardless of what others say about them.
In a post shared on Instagram on Monday, the actress and entrepreneur thanked those who had shown her love while emphasising the importance of knowing one’s worth and remaining committed to personal responsibilities.
“To every woman, you are strong, capable, and worthy of every dream in your heart. You are the complete package. Never allow fear, failure, or the opinions of others to define you.
“Believe in yourself, your voice, embrace your journey, and keep moving forward. Say to yourself: I can’t look away from my responsibilities. I can’t look away from my strength as a woman.
“I can’t look away from the wisdom in my mind, the depth of my soul, or the purpose within my heart. I love you all.”

Lola did not directly address the allegations that had previously linked her to the rift between the brothers, but her message appeared to acknowledge the public support she has received in recent days.
The development comes amid renewed public interest in the P-Square dispute, which has continued to generate controversy over the years as Peter and Paul have separately shared their sides of the story.
