Nollywood actress and humanitarian Tonto Dikeh has unveiled a church support programme through The New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle in celebration of the birthday of popular clergyman, Pastor Jerry Eze.
Dikeh announced the initiative in a post on Instagram, explaining that the project is focused on helping churches improve their facilities and acquire essential equipment needed for their activities.
She said the initiative seeks to “repair and strengthen altars in our communities” by assisting churches with structural renovations and other material needs.
According to the actress, the support is intended to reduce the financial burden on churches and enable them to focus more on their religious activities.
“To honour our father and man of God, Pst Jerry Eze’s Birthday, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle is aligning with heaven to repair and strengthen the Altars in our communities.
“We are stepping in to support and uplift churches through structural renovation or vital equipment, lifting a physical burden so the work of the Kingdom can break forth without limitation,” she said.
Dikeh called on churches interested in the programme to submit clear photographs showing the current state of their facilities.
Applicants are also expected to provide their exact location, details of structural challenges and a list of materials they require.
