In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, the actor revealed how the couple facilitated his medical treatment abroad after he had initially received care in Nigeria.
Balogun described Remi Tinubu as someone he will never forget, noting her consistent follow-ups during his recovery.
“When I had an accident, President Tinubu and his wife stepped in and ensured I was taken abroad for treatment after I had already received proper care in Nigeria,” he said.

“That is why Remi Tinubu will always be an unforgettable person in my life. She constantly checked in on me.
“When I asked her why she helped me, she said I am God’s light that must not be dimmed. It was from her that I learned that if you take care of someone else’s child, God will take care of yours. She also told me not to thank her because helping me was her way of seeking God’s answer to her own prayers.”
Balogun recounted that the accident happened in Akure, the Ondo State capital, while returning from filming the final scene of a three-man cast project.
“At the accident, I was working on a film project with one-man, two-man, three-man, and four-man cast formats. I was shooting the three-man cast film and had just one scene left to complete it,” he explained.
“The marketer had said he would not pay the balance unless the film was completed. It was on our way back from shooting that final scene, along the Akure road, that I had the accident.”
He also addressed critics of the Tinubu administration, stating that it is “successfully driving a transformative agenda for Nigeria.”
