The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has announced the birth of a baby girl with his wife, Olori Oluwatosin, just three months after welcoming twin princes with another wife, Olori Mariam Ajibola.
The revered monarch shared the joyful news in a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday, expressing gratitude to God for the safe delivery and confirming that both mother and daughter are in good health.
“To God Almighty be all the glory for his unfailing grace and the precious gift of new life.
“Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa for the blessed arrival of a Royal Princess through Olori Oluwatosin.
“May the Almighty preserve this divine gift and cause her to flourish in wisdom, grace, and honour.
“We are pleased to share that both Olori Oluwatosin and the Royal Princess are in excellent health,” the Ooni wrote.
The birth comes only a few months after the monarch celebrated the arrival of twin boys with Olori Mariam Ajibola. In May, he also announced the birth on social media, thanking God for the blessing and revealing that both the mother and the twins were in good health.

The Ooni’s growing family has continued to attract public attention since the end of his marriage to Olori Naomi.
Following their separation, the monarch married six queens within three months in 2022. They include Mariam Anako, Elizabeth Akinmuda, Tobiloba Phillips, Ashley Adegoke, Ronke Ademiluyi and Temitope Adesegun.
While celebrating his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary, the traditional ruler explained that his decision to marry multiple wives was influenced by the customs and traditions attached to the ancient throne of Ile-Ife, noting that despite attempts to make changes, he could not go against the heritage of the kingdom.
