Emmanuella has publicly countered claims by content creator Carter Efe that their relationship ended more than a year ago, insisting his account is inaccurate and does not reflect recent events.
Carter Efe had earlier stated that he had been single for over a year, blaming the relationship for setbacks in his personal life and career. He alleged that the situation left him financially strained, mentally unfocused, and separated from their daughter for several months.
Responding via Instagram on Monday, Emmanuella dismissed the breakup narrative as “false,” stating that they remained involved until shortly before his public announcement. She further claimed they were intimate just days prior to his post.
“I have seen everything Carter posted about us. However, the way he posted it was weird because we were literally together three days ago, and we had sex,” she wrote.
She also questioned Carter’s commitment to child support, alleging that financial responsibility for their daughter only comes after repeated requests.
“We have a baby together, and for you to cater for your child, I will have to come to you before you can give me money, even though we aren’t together anymore, like you claim.”
Emmanuella went on to accuse Carter of exerting control over her personal decisions and stalling her career ambitions, claiming he prevented her from working and deliberately isolated her from people close to her.
“You stopped me from working. I’ve always wanted to become an actress, but Carter doesn’t want that. I had to kill that dream. I can’t even work at the hospital because he said I would sleep with the doctors there,” she alleged.

She further claimed that he cut off her communication with friends and relatives.
“This same person blocked all my female friends because he knows I would confide in them. Going ahead to post a video of my female friend’s brother is crazy.
“If people try to contact me, he blocks it. He made sure I kept my family away,” she added.
According to Emmanuella, Carter also threatened her before making his posts public.
“Honestly, when I saw his post about me, I was shocked because he called me this morning and told me he was about to post something calling me a prostitute and that he would make sure I never post myself ever again.
“Since he was the one who gave me the platform, he would also take the platform from me. God knows everything,” she said.
In a separate post, Emmanuella described her pregnancy period as deeply distressing, alleging she was physically abused and repeatedly forced out of Carter’s home despite being pregnant.
“My pregnancy journey was hell. Carter would hit me regardless of my condition, which made me a regular at this particular hospital,” she wrote.
“Every staff member there knew me so well that the moment I stepped foot in the hospital, they already knew why I had come. He would hit me and throw me out of the house.
“The nurses would ask why I was always at the hospital alone, with no one to help me, but I would always lie because they all knew me.
“One day, a nurse noticed some bruises on my hand and asked about them, but guess what, I acted like I didn’t know what it was.”
As of the time of this report, Carter Efe has not issued a public response to the allegations.
