The Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy has revealed that alcohol was a substantial factor in the death of a 35-year-old Tagbo Umeike, the young boyfriend of actress and divorced mother of three, Caroline Danjuma.

Tagbo, a friend of Davido, died on his birthday last Tuesday in Lagos.

The result also showed that he had alcohol and drugs in his system capable of easing a person into the early stages of hypothermia and eventual death.

The toxicology tests detected alcohol (Bacardi 151, 75.5% Alcohol) and topiramate, a medication for epilepsy and/or migraines in a man’s system, in Tagbo Umeike.’
Tagbo’s blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) was at 0.112, higher than the 0.08 legal limit for normal human being state, the coroner’s office stated.

While his family claims that Tagbo “didn’t have a prescription for any type of topiramate medication”, the coroner’s office stated that the amount of drug in Tagbos’ system was in the “therapeutic range.”
A statement by the coroner’s office said, “Alcohol and topiramate are synergistic. When combined, the effect of either or both drugs is enhanced.”

“Topiramate, like alcohol, can cause dizziness, impaired memory, impaired concentration, poor coordination, confusion and impaired judgment.
“Central nervous system depression, or impairment, combined with cold exposure can hasten the onset of hypothermia and death.”

Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma accused Davido of dumping the body Tagbo who allegedly died in the singer’s car, in a Lagos hospital.

The actress made the allegations in a post on her Instagram page. She also demanded that Davido and his crew explain how Tagbo died in his car and why they ran away as according to her, the police and the hospital confirmed they all ran way.

She later granted an interview to Stella Dimoko-Korkus that she was dating Tagbo and that her findings from his friends revealed he took 30 shots of Tequila.

She said, “I decided to call my neighbour who was also Tagbo’s friend and my neighbor, who was holidaying in Lebanon, called me back and said there was a bet of 200k and that Tagbo drank about 50 shots of Tequila. I said that cannot be true— Tagbo cannot drink even a glass of Hennessey because he has a light brain like me. So, a guy who cannot drink this much cannot finish 50 shots of Tequila.”
