Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, known widely as 2Baba, has finally broken his silence amid the escalating drama involving him and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, who also serves as a lawmaker in Edo State.
The singer took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, sharing a short but unsettling message that read, “Help me.”
His post came not long after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, voiced his concern on Instagram. In his message—accompanied by lyrics from one of 2Baba’s songs—Hyacinth wrote, “You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”
The couple’s situation has been under public scrutiny for weeks. Sources say the tension began during a trip to the United Kingdom, where a disagreement between 2Baba and Natasha reportedly escalated, drawing police involvement and resulting in a brief arrest for the singer.

The issue resurfaced recently during an Instagram Live chat with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where both were captured engaging in a heated argument on camera. The back-and-forth intensified online discussions, with many observers suggesting that the marriage may be under significant strain.
Fans have continued to express concern across social media platforms, urging the singer to seek support and protect his well-being.
As at press time, neither 2Baba nor Natasha Osawaru has released a detailed statement explaining the unfolding situation.
