Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo, has opened up about the emotional challenges of widowhood while reflecting on life after her husband’s passing.
Taking to her Instagram page, she expressed deep sorrow and spoke about the struggles of raising their children without him, describing the experience as painful and overwhelming.
“Widowhood. Jnr Pope Obumneme Odonwodo. You for consider your three boys sha,” she wrote.
Her post comes after she marked his second death anniversary with a heartfelt tribute, where she recounted the shock and disbelief she felt upon hearing the news of his death. She said she initially went into denial, hoping for a miracle.

According to her, coping with the loss has not been easy, but she continues to draw strength from her faith in God.
Junior Pope died alongside others after drowning in the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set, a tragedy that deeply affected the Nigerian film industry.
