On Thursday, February 17, Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi christened his newborn baby boy amidst pomp.
The controversial actor who gained popularity through his involvements in ‘ human rights crusading’ on social media, has been so joyous on social media and has been exhibiting it for all to see.
But this is not Yomi’s firstborn.
He is so ecstatic about this newborn because his babymama went away with his firstborn, Metomi.
According to Yomi, as at when he shared his first son’s photo in 2017, the lad was eight years old. Then, not everyone knew that he had a child, Metomi whose mother has gone away with for many years!
During the boy’s eighth birthday, an anguished Yomi wrote that he had been celebrating his son’s birthday with ‘stolen photos’ for eight years.
He said, “Since she took him away at this age, she must have decided not to return him to Nigeria so I won’t have access to him. Now she has secretly relocated to America with him when I was thinking they are in South Africa….I cannot have a child and forget he existed because the mother is unnecessarily evil and enjoys connivance with some evil characters too. My child is worth more than anything and denying him my love, care and tutelage is criminal and sinful against God and him.”
That he is making so much fuss about this newborn is very obvious— this is his own and he would be with hi in Nigeria.
Now, he has christened this newborn, Akorede, Imole, Jasmine Oluwamuyiwa Fabiyi.
In attendance at the lavish ceremony were his colleagues in the entertainment industry and on the bandstand was Tope Alabi, a Gospel artiste.
