Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has leveled allegations against Adura Aloba, the younger brother of late singer Mohbad, claiming that Adura requested ₦3 million in exchange for a video allegedly capturing a confrontation between Mohbad and his wife.

The claims were made during a World Press Conference centered on seeking justice for the singer, who passed away on September 12, 2023.
Fabiyi disclosed that Adura contacted him via direct message offering the video. “Adura Aloba sent me a DM after reacting to my posts and comments. When I eventually checked, he offered to sell a video of a fight between Mohbad and his wife for ₦3 million,” Fabiyi stated.

The actor explained that he received a 3-second clip featuring a heated argument in the background. However, his request for a longer, uncensored version stalled the conversation.
The revelation sparked strong reactions during the conference, with Mohbad’s mother publicly criticizing Fabiyi. She condemned his remarks, accusing him of targeting her only surviving son.
In response, Fabiyi reassured her of his intentions, stating that his focus is on seeking justice for Ilerioluwa and ensuring Adura’s safety throughout the process.
Mohbad’s untimely death continues to garner widespread attention, with growing calls for a comprehensive investigation. Fabiyi’s allegations add complexity to the discourse, highlighting potential family conflicts and transparency challenges in the pursuit of justice.
