Grammy Award winner Wizkid recently addressed his fan base, known as the Wizkid FC, after facing backlash for not releasing new songs. In response to a fan’s impatience, who jokingly threatened him with “God of Iron” (Ogun) to release new music, Wizkid playfully engaged with his fans.
The fan’s message read, “Afa drop songs now Abi Ogun they kill you.”
Wizkid, who is currently in Lagos following his mother’s burial, humorously responded by stating that he would be taking a break from music for 4 to 5 years and hinted at pursuing a new profession. He playfully mentioned that he might consider playing football, golf, fifa, and wrestling.
In a later Instagram story, Wizkid conveyed his love to the Wizkid FC, inquiring about their well-being and reminding them to take time to enjoy life with their loved ones.
Wizkid’s interaction with his fan base reflects his playful and engaging approach to fans’ messages and concerns.
