Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has shared fresh details about the breakdown of her relationship with fellow actress Eniola Badmus, recounting incidents that contributed to the collapse of their once-close friendship.
The actress made the revelations during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where she narrated how Badmus allegedly demanded money from a man who wanted to obtain her phone number.
According to Laide, the man had approached Eniola to help him get her contact details, but the actress allegedly made financial demands before agreeing to share the information.
Recounting the incident, she said, “Someone forced her to call me, and it was a guy. She called me and told me the guy wanted to kill her, with calls asking about me. She told me that the guy wanted to date me but would collect money from him. She claimed Eniola said if he didn’t give her money, she wouldn’t give him her contact.”
Laide also spoke about another incident involving Nigerian music star Davido, revealing that she once declined an opportunity to visit the singer at his residence when he was beginning to gain prominence.
She explained that Eniola had offered to take her along to meet Davido, but she turned down the invitation because she feared the situation could lead to embarrassment.
